Patient safety and excellent servicing are inseparable. We are convinced that in our manufacture and service center, the know-how and expertise required for excellent, all-inclusive repair servicing is nothing less important as our competence to design and manufacture new devices.

Thanks to the decades of experience of our service department, we have a great deal of insight into the care of medical devices.
We are committed to support and promote Product Care because we are convinced that quality of the surgical procedures depends on the condition of the medical devices as well.
Nowadays quite a wide range of accessories are available to assist with the cleaning, identification, and protection of delicate surgical instruments.

For example, using tip guards for MIS instruments and protection tubes for thin endoscopes helps to prevent delicate medical instruments during pre-processing and storage.
However, the importance of very carefully prepared manufacturer’s instructions should be stressed, as they can provide even experienced users with useful information that can prolong the life of their equipment and even reduce the frequency of servicing.
The life expectancy of a high-quality medical device depends on both the accuracy of manufacturing and the care taken in its operation and reprocessing.

For all products sold by EMD, whether it is a product of our own or a medical device that we distribute, we consider our after sales services to be of the utmost importance.

EMD service centre

EMD’s service centre is sited at our headquarters in Debrecen.
Our outstandingly competent servicing activities are synonymous with our excellent service team members, with highly qualified service engineers, technicians and medical technicians with a wide range of experience.
The MOBILSERVICE, unique in Hungary, offers the possibility of planned, scheduled maintenance and on-site repair of complete surgical trays.

Thanks to this service, the surgical instruments can be returned to the user on the same day after the repair/maintenance, so that the instruments are out of the surgical cycle for a minimum of time.
The on-site presence of our highly trained technicians also greatly enhances customer communication, as hospital technical staff and the surgical assistant team regularly have the opportunity to share their experience of using EMD devices and discuss their specific repair needs with us in person. EMD’s MOBILESERVICE is available in Hungary and neighboring countries.

Our customer service can be reached by telephone and e-mail depending on the needs of our clients.
We also offer our partners a flexible solution through the PARTNER PORTAL interface of our website, where they can obtain information on ongoing cases in a well-structured and transparent way.
All service requests (under or beyond the warranty period) and product concerns are handled locally, at our own service centre headquartered in Debrecen.
The quality of our products and services is granted by our certified quality management system according to EN ISO 13485:2016.
